Essential Job Functions
  • Provide new customers with a comprehensive understanding of Spirax Sarco's solutions, driving value for both the customer and our company.
  • Actively seek self-generated growth opportunities to generate sales volume.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets by developing territory, account, and call plans that expand priority sectors and achieve planned growth.

  • Understand Spirax Sarco's Customer-Centric Approach thoroughly. Showcase our capabilities and full range of products to all collaborators through professional presentations, lunch & learns, and other effective processes. Identify and highlight valuable benefits that will enhance the customer's business. Apply a consultative selling approach to discover customer challenges and benefits to increase value for the customer.
  • Participate in networking group activities, professional organizations, and trade shows to develop new leads and customers. Maintain up-to-date records in Salesforce.com on opportunities, accounts, quotations, contacts, calls, and meetings, to achieve periodic forecasts and goals. Manage leads and opportunity pipelines in Salesforce, and track conversion rates and win-loss reasons. Collaborate with Strategic Account Managers and Industry Segment Leads on opportunities.
  • Offer inventive solutions to address customer struggles. Take charge of negotiating price and terms to secure the full sales order value. Offer compelling proposals highlighting Spirax Sarco's capabilities in providing value-based solutions to customers. Collaborate with the ESG, ESD, and EM&M Group to support the complete product offering and design. Coordinate with all Spirax Sarco internal departments to align resources in meeting customer needs and objectives.
  • Follow all Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) and Legal Compliance requirements. Embody what we value at all times and promote the same in others. Proactively handle learning and professional development opportunities to enhance individual proficiencies. Engage in conversations about new ideas, strategies, and concerns with Managers to identify actionable solutions.
Job Specifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in business-to-business sales, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Consistent track record of achievement in positions with significant accountability. Proficiency in digital literacy including Microsoft Suite and Salesforce.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to operate a motor vehicle.
  • Fieldwork with approximately 65% travel.
  • Need someone that has experience in the Western, VA market
