The Executive Compensation Manager position, part of the Corporate Human Resources Total Rewards organization, will lead complex, high‑visibility, enterprise-level initiatives within the Executive Compensation team. This role manages end‑to‑end project delivery, ongoing program operations, including process design, data and system integrations, vendor partnerships, governance, and high‑touch support for senior leaders.

The Project Manager will translate executive and organizational priorities into actionable plans, establish clear milestones and accountability, and drive successful outcomes across multiple functions and stakeholders. The role requires strong judgment, analytical and financial acumen, and the ability to influence without direct authority while managing competing priorities and resolving complex issues.

The Project Manager will contribute to broader executive compensation initiatives and projects by leveraging advanced data analytics, reporting, and data-driven insights to improve processes, strengthen controls, optimize resources, and support executive-level decision-making.

What You Will Do

  • Lead full life‑cycle project management for large, multi‑workstream initiatives, including scope definition, timeline development, process design, and cross‑functional execution.
  • Own program outcomes and ongoing operations, ensuring programs operate accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with organizational objectives, policies, and governance requirements.
  • Provide high‑touch support and issue resolution for executives, applying strong judgment, problem‑solving, and customer service skills.
  • Develop clear, concise communications for program launches, updates, and recurring annual processes.
  • Coordinate system, data, payroll, and process integrations, including requirements definition, testing, reconciliation, output validation, issue resolution, and implementation.
  • Build and maintain reporting tools, dashboards, and analytical models that provide meaningful insights into program performance, trends, costs, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Conduct audits and compliance reviews; partner with payroll on key annual calculations and data validation.
  • Manage vendor relationships and performance, including service delivery, issue resolution, contract-related processes, data quality, and alignment of vendor operations with business requirements.
  • Collaborate across HR, payroll, digital, legal, supply chain, and risk management teams to deliver integrated, data‑driven solutions.


Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
  • Background with cross-functional project management

  • Project management experience leading complex, cross‑functional initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for continuous improvement, process automation, AI enablement, operational efficiency, and measurable business impact, with the ability to translate opportunities into practical, scalable solutions.
  • Strong customer relations skills with the ability to provide high‑touch support to senior leaders.
  • Effective problem‑solving, analytical reasoning, and root‑cause analysis capabilities.
  • Solid financial acumen, including comfort with payroll concepts, compensation data, forecasting, and compliance‑related processes.
  • Data analytics skills, including building reports, interpreting trends, and presenting insights to senior stakeholders.
  • Experience creating executive-level materials.
  • Background in a large multinational company
  • High degree of professional ethics and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Proven proficiency in Microsoft applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerBI.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply. RTX anticipates the application window closing approximately 40 days from the date the notice was posted. However, factors such as candidate flow and business necessity may require RTX to shorten or extend the application window.
