• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health conditions and establish appropriate treatment goals.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to meet the individual needs of clients, adjusting as necessary based on progress and feedback.
• Provide supportive counseling through individual, couples, and group therapy sessions, utilizing a variety of therapeutic interventions aimed at fostering emotional resilience and coping strategies.
• Engage in collaborative care by working with interdisciplinary teams, which may include psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health professionals, to ensure holistic treatment for clients.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, adhering to legal and ethical standards of practice to ensure client trust and safety.
• Participate in ongoing clinical supervision, case discussions, and professional development workshops, staying current with best practices in the field of mental health counseling.

• A valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of New York.
• A Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling or a related field from an accredited university.

• Mastery of therapeutic techniques grounded in evidence-based practices relevant to mental health treatment.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to connect with a diverse clientele, fostering trust and open communication.

• Minimum of one year of relevant clinical experience in a mental health counseling capacity.
• Experience with specialized therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is advantageous.
• Background working with various populations, including adolescents, families, and individuals in crisis.
