As a remote position, this role allows flexibility in managing your own schedule while maintaining full communication with our experienced team of mental health providers. The work setting emphasizes outpatient care, where you will interact with patients through teletherapy sessions, ensuring access to vital support regardless of their location. In your role as an LCSW, your primary responsibility will be to deliver psychotherapy services tailored to the comprehensive needs of each client. Specific duties include:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments and creating individualized treatment plans based on established best practices and collaborative treatment goals.
• Administering therapeutic interventions like cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) suited to the distinct needs and preferences of patients.
• Documenting all clinical interactions and maintaining detailed records in compliance with HIPAA guidelines to protect patient confidentiality.
• Working closely with other health professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to provide holistic and coordinated patient care.
• Attending regular supervision and case consultation meetings to ensure the delivery of the highest-quality care and to facilitate professional growth.
• Educating patients and their families on mental health issues and available treatment resources, promoting shared decision-making in their recovery process.
• Keeping abreast of new research and developments in the mental health field to continually improve clinical practice.

You will work with a diverse clientele facing various mental health and substance use challenges. Your focus will be on vulnerable populations undergoing detoxification from addictive substances, where timely and empathetic interventions can lead to successful recovery outcomes. Your expertise will foster a therapeutic space where clients feel safe, understood, and motivated to pursue their recovery journey.

To excel in this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida.
• A minimum of three years of clinical experience, particularly in providing psychotherapy services in a mental health or substance use treatment setting.
• Demonstrable knowledge of solution-focused techniques and psychotherapeutic interventions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, essential for building rapport with patients and collaborating with colleagues.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities to address complex client needs effectively.

Preference will be given to candidates with additional experience in substance use treatment and those familiar with HIPAA compliance regulations. Experience working in a multicultural environment and with diverse populations is also desirable, reflecting our commitment to inclusive care.
