Job description

A Day in Life:

The Finance and Sales Consultant will manage leads from beginning through close for our Rent2Buy customers, as well as for those who choose to purchase a vehicle through the e-commerce platform, www.hertzcarsales.com. This is a high-volume sales role, and we are seeking individuals with strong skills in finance & insurance, sales, and customer service. The consultant will be based onsite at our corporate headquarters in Estero, FL, and will facilitate remote transactions with customers across the United States.

You will receive the earning potential as if working at an auto dealer, while receiving the perks and benefits of being a corporate employee. These benefits include work-life balance, medical, dental and vision, PTO, and more. This role is an hourly wage PLUS sales-based commission. The earning potential is based on individual performance and ability.

What You'll Do:

  • Facilitate the end-to-end Rent2Buy sales process efficiently.
  • Achieve monthly sales targets.
  • Manage the vehicle financing process and collaborate with lenders to secure deals that drive strong profit margins and revenue per vehicle sold.
  • Ensure high-quality CRM output and maintain data accuracy.
  • Verify completion of deal packages and follow up on any missing documents and deals in transit.
  • Work in multiple platforms to complete the sales process.
  • Monitor and support store compliance as it relates to the Rent2Buy model.
  • Work with the Rent2Buy team to provide customer support, reclassify vehicles, and ensure proper deal funding.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support strong NPS scores.

What We're Looking For:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. 

  • Minimum of 3 years of automotive sales experience preferred. 

  • Prior Automotive Finance & Insurance (F&I) experience required or strongly preferred. 

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. 

  • Ability to thrive in a high-volume sales environment with strong organizational and time management skills. 

  • Experience working in a web-based or digital sales environment. 

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team. 

  • Strong communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills. 

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • This is an hourly base + high commission role. Earning potential is based on individual performance and ability. The starting hourly base is $14.70.
