Position Overview

Innovative Medical Solutions Inc. is seeking a dedicated and qualified Licensed Mental Health Therapist to be an essential part of our integrated care team. In this remote role, you will provide vital mental health services to individuals navigating co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. Work Environment

This full-time position allows you to work remotely within our telehealth facility, offering flexibility and convenience. You will engage with clients primarily through virtual sessions, enabling you to reach individuals in their own environments—an approach that enhances comfort and openness. Your typical work hours will be from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, with some evening hours required on a rotating basis to accommodate client needs.

  • Conduct in-depth comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health and substance use concerns, effectively identifying co-occurring disorders.
  • Collaborate directly with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that employ evidence-based interventions tailored to their unique needs.
  • Deliver individualized and group therapy sessions aimed at equipping clients with essential coping skills, relapse prevention strategies, and emotional regulation techniques.
  • Work alongside a multidisciplinary team—including psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists—to coordinate care that promotes holistic treatment and client engagement.
  • Implement regular substance use monitoring and engage in motivational interviewing techniques to support clients in overcoming challenges during their recovery journey.
  • Educate clients and their families on the intricacies of co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, emphasizing the significance of treatment compliance and ongoing support.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatment progress, interventions, and referrals, adhering to all ethical and legal guidelines.
  • Actively participate in case conferences, staff meetings, and ongoing training sessions to enhance your knowledge and skills in addressing co-occurring disorders.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily address the needs of individuals facing co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. This complex client population requires a therapist who is not only skilled in standard therapeutic practices but also understands the nuances and overlapping challenges posed by these issues. By embracing an integrated care model, you will support clients in navigating their recovery paths through tailored and compassionate interventions.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Illinois.
  • Proven proficiency in evidence-based therapies for co-occurring disorders, including Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
  • Strong understanding of the interplay between mental health and substance use disorders with a track record of successful treatment outcomes.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating effectively within a diverse interdisciplinary team.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience in counseling or therapy, particularly involving co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 75,000 to 100,000 per year, complemented by a sign-on bonus.
