Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to understand the mental health status, strengths, and needs of patients.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to guide treatment plans.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated, holistic approach to patient care.
• Support patients and their families in understanding diagnoses, treatment options, and medication regimens, fostering a collaborative narrative.
• Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions, applying evidence-based modalities to facilitate powerful therapeutic changes.
• In partnership with the treatment team, develop tailored treatment plans that incorporate patient goals, preferences, and aspirations for recovery.
• Assist patients in navigating the mental health system, providing advocacy for their rights and needs.
• Lead therapeutic groups and psychoeducational sessions, as well as discharge planning meetings, to prepare patients for successful transitions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily serves individuals experiencing a wide range of mental health challenges. You will engage with children, adolescents, adults, and families, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral disorders. Your contributions will play a critical role in helping patients achieve improved mental health outcomes, enhancing their quality of life through tailored, client-centered approaches.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Thorough knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and crisis intervention strategies.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary treatment team.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in outpatient settings, providing therapy and crisis intervention.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote patient care models.
• Proven ability to facilitate group therapy sessions effectively.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
