What is remote rock crushing?

Remote rock crushing refers to the operation of rock crushers from a distance, often using remote controls or automated systems. This technology allows operators to crush rocks and other materials safely and efficiently without needing to be physically present at the machinery. It is commonly used in mining, construction, and quarrying to improve safety and productivity, especially in hazardous or hard-to-reach locations. Remote rock crushing can help reduce labor costs and minimize risks associated with manual operation.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Remote Rock Crushing Operator, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Remote Rock Crushing Operator, you need knowledge of heavy equipment operation, mechanical aptitude, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Familiarity with automated control systems, remote monitoring software, and safety certifications such as MSHA (Mine Safety and Health Administration) are typically required. Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and strong communication skills set top performers apart in this field. These competencies are crucial to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable rock crushing operations, often in hazardous or isolated environments.

What jobs in the US pay 300,000 a year?

In the US, high-paying roles related to remote rock crushing or similar industries are rare, with most salaries below $300,000 annually. Typically, executive positions in mining companies, engineering managers, or specialized consultants may reach or exceed this level, especially with extensive experience and advanced certifications. Most roles in this field tend to have lower average salaries, but senior leadership or highly specialized technical roles can command higher compensation.

What jobs pay $500,000 a year in the US?

Remote Rock Crushing and Remote Aggregate Plant Operator roles share similar certifications and work environments, often within the mining and construction industries. Both roles require safety training and equipment operation skills, but their daily tasks and equipment may differ slightly.

What are some common challenges faced by remote rock crushing operators, and how can they be addressed?

Remote rock crushing operators often face challenges such as equipment malfunctions, managing dust and noise, and ensuring safety while working in isolated locations. Effective communication with the onsite team and regular equipment maintenance are crucial for minimizing downtime. Additionally, operators must stay vigilant about following safety protocols and environmental regulations. Utilizing remote monitoring technology can help identify issues early and streamline collaboration with maintenance and support staff.

Remote rock crushing jobs are typically not high-paying or common without specialized skills or equipment. Generally, roles that earn $10,000 a month without a degree include sales, real estate, certain tech sales, or entrepreneurship, which rely on experience, skills, and performance rather than formal education. About This Posting
This is an evergreen posting for positions within our Revenue Team—meaning there isn’t a specific open role tied to it today. We’re always looking to connect with great talent who could be a future fit across our go-to-market organization, and we use this posting to build relationships with candidates we’d love to consider when the right opportunity opens up. If any of the roles below sound like a fit for your background and what you’re looking for next, we’d love to hear from you. We’ll keep your information on file and reach out when a matching role becomes available. All of our positions are fully remote.
Explore Our Revenue Roles

Our Revenue Team is made up of three closely partnered functions. Below is a high-level overview of each role so you can let us know where you see yourself making the biggest impact.

Account Executive: At the forefront of our growth, working exclusively with prospective clients to show how our innovative solutions can change the game, AEs own the full sales cycle—from prospecting to closing. You’ll build a thriving pipeline through creative outreach, strategic follow-ups, and consultative, problem-solving demos that turn higher ed leaders into long-term partners. Success in this role looks like crushing quota, building meaningful relationships, and partnering closely with Marketing, SDRs, and Client Success to ensure a smooth journey from first conversation to signed contract.

Typical Experience: 2–5 years of SaaS sales or higher ed tech experience with a proven track record of exceeding quota. Consultative selling chops, CRM fluency (HubSpot a plus), and a relentless, creative drive to win.

OTE: $160,000 ($80,000 base + $80,000 variable, 50/50 split)

Account Manager: The driving force behind making sure our clients don’t just renew their contracts—they expand their use of Mongoose and can’t imagine life without us. AMs own the renewal process and lead expansion efforts by building rock-solid relationships, conducting Mongoose Quarterly Reviews, and partnering closely with a dedicated Customer Success Manager who drives adoption and value realization. Success looks like increasing client retention and hitting both renewal and expansion quotas through strategic account planning and referential selling.

Typical Experience: Proven success carrying a renewal and/or expansion quota in a B2B SaaS environment. Relationship-builder with strong consultative communication skills, data-informed decision making, and CRM experience (HubSpot a plus).

OTE: $150,000 ($80,000 base + $70,000 variable)

Customer Success Manager: serve as strategic partners to our customers—helping institutions translate communication into measurable outcomes. CSMs lead onboarding and implementation, drive adoption, interpret engagement data, and guide customers in optimizing their communication strategies using Mongoose’s Conversation Intelligence Platform. Working hand-in-hand with Account Managers, CSMs identify growth opportunities, mitigate risk, and position Mongoose as a critical, campus-wide solution. Success looks like high adoption, healthy customers, and measurable institutional outcomes.

Typical Experience: Customer-first mindset with strong analytical and project management skills. Experience in higher ed or SaaS is a plus—and we  value candidates who’ve worked on a college or university campus (admissions, advising, enrollment management, student affairs, alumni relations, etc.), even without a traditional CSM title.

OTE: $75,000 ($65,000 base + $10,000 variable)

What We Look For
Across all of our revenue roles, we look for:
  • A Passion for Higher Ed: You care about the work colleges and universities do and are excited about helping them serve students, families, and alumni better through smarter communication.
  • Relationship-Driven Mindset: Whether you’re selling, renewing, or supporting, you know how to build trust quickly and become a true partner to the people you work with.
  • Consultative Communication: You ask the right questions, listen carefully, and translate complex ideas into clear, actionable insights that resonate with decision-makers.
  • Data-Informed Approach: You use data as a secret weapon—tracking what matters, spotting trends, and turning insights into action. CRM experience (HubSpot a plus) is valuable across all three roles.
  • Collaboration at the Core: Revenue is a team sport at Mongoose. You thrive in a partnership model where AEs, AMs, CSMs, Marketing, Product, and Leadership all work together to deliver outcomes.
  • Grit and Adaptability: You bring resilience, curiosity, and a willingness to learn fast in a high-growth, ever-evolving SaaS environment.
  • Higher Ed Knowledge (a Plus, Not a Must): Experience in higher ed is great, but it’s not a deal-breaker. What matters most is your ability to learn fast, adapt quickly, and understand what makes this industry tick.
Why You'll Love it Here
