Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Risk Management and Quality Assurance Nurse Consultant with a strong leadership background in nursing facility settings (regional nurse experience preferred) for this remote position.
The ideal candidate is passionate about improving quality of care, ensuring regulatory compliance, and reducing litigation risk across multiple facilities.
Responsibilities

  • Assess and improve risk management strategies in long term care facilities
  • Provide guidance on regulatory compliance, clinical best practices, and survey readiness
  • Support incident and accident investigations and implementation of corrective actions
  • Analyze trends to identify clinical gaps and assist in developing proactive quality improvement plans
  • Educate and train staff on risk mitigation, safety, and documentation standards
