Development, and evolution of our next-generation mobile platform with integrated AI capabilities. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in cross-platform frameworks (React Native), and AI/ML integration. This role requires strategic architectural vision, solid hands-on engineering skills, and the ability to guide teams in building scalable, performant, and secure mobile experiences powered by AI.

For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Architecture & Platform Leadership: Define and drive the technical roadmap across native (iOS, Android) and cross-platform (React Native) solutions
  • AI Integration: Implement and optimize AI/ML models for mobile apps using Core ML, TensorFlow Lite, PyTorch Mobile, and ONNX Runtime Mobile
  • Hands-on Development: Deliver clean, scalable, and maintainable code in Swift, Kotlin/Java, TypeScript/JavaScript (React Native), and Python for ML workflows
  • React Native Expertise:
    • Architect hybrid apps combining React Native with native modules
    • Leverage Fabric, TurboModules, and Hermes for performance
    • Enable OTA updates via CodePush, Expo Updates, and ensure smooth CI/CD delivery
  • Framework & Tooling: Establish SDKs, libraries, and shared components to unify native and RN ecosystems
  • Performance & Security: Optimize AI features for latency, memory, battery usage, and enforce enterprise security standards
  • Collaboration: Partner with data scientists, backend engineers, and designers to deliver seamless AI-driven user experiences
  • Mentorship & Leadership: Provide technical mentorship on both AI/ML and mobile platform engineering
  • Innovation: Experiment with generative AI, personalization engines, multimodal models, and their deployment in mobile apps
  • Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions to address complex business challenges with emphasis on responsible use of AI
  • Leverage enterprise-approved AI tools to streamline workflows, automate tasks, and drive continuous improvement
  • Evaluate emerging trends to inform solution design and strategic innovation

  • AI/ML Tools & Frameworks experience to include:

    • Training/Serving: PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face Transformers
    • Optimization: Quantization, pruning, distillation, TensorRT
  • Cloud & Backend Platforms experience with AWS SageMaker, GCP Vertex AI, Firebase, Azure AI, GraphQL, REST APIs
  • CI/CD & DevOps: GitHub Actions, Fastlane, Bitrise, Jenkins, AppCenter, Docker, Kubernetes.

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $112,700 to $193,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
