Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments for clients to identify the root causes of their mental health challenges, thereby creating tailored therapeutic interventions that support their recovery journey.
  • Utilize your expertise to refer clients to psychiatrists or advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs) when specialized assessments or advanced treatments are required.
  • Provide actionable strategies to help clients dealing with low self-esteem, familial conflicts, addictions, and suicidal thoughts, guiding them towards healthier coping mechanisms.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of client interactions, analyzing data to continually refine and enhance methods of treatment.
  • Engage collaboratively with clientsโ€™ families, as appropriate, to monitor progress, behavioral changes, and responses to ongoing therapies.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role as a Remote Mental Health Counselor will see you working with a wide range of clients facing various mental health issues, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, substance use disorders, and trauma-related conditions. You will engage with diverse populations, ensuring thoughtful, individualized care that respects and reflects each client's unique background and circumstances.

Qualifications
  • Masterโ€™s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
  • No history of medical malpractice claims, verified by a third party.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States.
