This full-time position is primarily remote, allowing you the flexibility to manage your schedule while contributing to a vital part of our healthcare system. • Conduct thorough clinical assessments to understand each patient’s unique mental health landscape and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and solution-focused therapy, to address mental health concerns and support coping strategies.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and facilitating seamless care transitions.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including nurses, physicians, and chaplains, to provide holistic treatment aligned with each patient’s goals and preferences.
• Engage in continuous education and professional development, staying current with best practices and advancements in mental health care.

As an LCSW at our hospice center, you will work with a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on individuals nearing the end of life and their families. Your role will involve providing support for anxiety, depression, and existential distress related to end-of-life issues, enabling patients and their loved ones to engage in difficult conversations and make informed decisions about care.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program is required.
• A valid and current LCSW license in the state of Georgia.
• Proficient knowledge of solution-based psychotherapy interventions and familiarity with hospice or palliative care settings is highly desirable.
• Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills, allowing for effective interaction with patients and healthcare professionals alike.

• Previous experience working in hospice or end-of-life care settings is preferred, providing you with context and understanding important aspects of this sensitive work.
• Experience with trauma-informed care practices is advantageous, as it will enhance your ability to provide compassionate support.
• Knowledge of local community resources that can assist patients and families during end-of-life transitions would be beneficial.

The annual salary for this role ranges from USD 80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and education.
