The role is primarily focused within our detox center framework, where you will contribute to bridging the gap between initial detoxification and ongoing therapeutic interventions.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with Relationship Behavioral Health Services, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of clients to determine their counseling needs.
• Utilizing DSM criteria to assess substance abuse diagnoses and establishing appropriate levels of care according to ASAM standards.
• Collaborating on the development and refinement of individualized treatment plans that incorporate substance abuse counseling.
• Creating and implementing discharge and continuum care plans that guide clients into appropriate follow-up treatments.
• Thoroughly documenting all counseling interactions, treatment updates, and assessments in clients' clinical records to ensure accurate reporting and accountability.
• Managing a diverse caseload, incorporating necessary case management and utilization review updates, and preparing clinical documentation as required.
• Coordinating mental health support services with family members and other external stakeholders to enhance client care.
• Engaging with referral sources such as legal entities, educational institutions, and employers to facilitate comprehensive support for clients.
• Employing a multidisciplinary team approach to implement interventions for clients facing crisis situations.

You will work primarily with clients dealing with addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders, requiring an understanding of the complexities involved in their treatment. Your role is crucial in guiding these individuals toward recovery by employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques and creating an environment that encourages personal growth and resilience.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A valid and active LCSW license in the state of Florida.
• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field.
• Demonstrated professionalism, strong therapeutic boundaries, and cultural competency.
• Self-motivation and excellent organizational skills to manage a diverse client base.
• Capacity to navigate complex client situations with empathy and integrity.
