Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our dynamic team at Relationship Behavioral Health Services in Orlando, Florida. This full-time position offers the flexibility of remote work while being highly integrated with our outpatient office environment. As an essential member of the interdisciplinary Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT), you will provide vital mental health support through evidence-based interventions to individuals in need.

Work Environment

The work setting is primarily remote, enabling you to deliver high-quality mental health counseling from the comfort of your home. However, you will maintain close collaboration with a team of healthcare professionals through virtual meetings and consultations. This remote structure is designed to offer flexibility while ensuring that you remain connected with your colleagues and supported in your work. As part of the PACT team, you will regularly engage with both fellow therapists and primary care physicians to streamline patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive intake assessments, problem identification, and diagnosis while creating individualized treatment plans tailored to clients' unique needs.
  • Provide short-term, evidence-based therapy interventions alongside consistent follow-up and evaluation of patients’ progress.
  • Deliver educational resources and consultative support to both Veterans and Primary Care Providers, thereby enhancing their understanding of mental health interventions.
  • Record and maintain accurate clinical documentation, applying relevant technology tools for data management and service delivery.
  • Participate actively in case reviews, multidisciplinary team meetings, and training workshops to continually refine your practice and expand your expertise.
  • Utilize the DSM for adhering to best practices in mental health treatment and assuring effective clinical outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with Veterans and their families, addressing a broad spectrum of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, and substance use disorders. Your work will be focused on fostering resilience and helping clients navigate their mental health journeys. You will need to be sensitive to diversity and skilled in multicultural counseling, as our client base encompasses individuals from various backgrounds and experiences.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field.
  • Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).
  • Competency in internal credentialing processes relevant to clinical settings.
  • Minimum of one year of experience working with psychiatric populations and/or substance abuse clients.
Preferred Experience
  • Demonstrable experience in assessment, diagnosis, and delivering individual and group therapy.
  • Familiarity with telehealth platforms and computer software applications for clinical documentation and client management.
  • A solid understanding of ethical guidelines, legal statutes, and case laws related to counseling practices.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range between $60,000 and $95,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to the base salary, we provide financial incentives, including a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.
