• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' unique needs, goals, and challenges.

• Implement therapeutic interventions that promote emotional regulation, coping strategies, and overall well-being, while employing recognized methodologies, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy.
• Maintain thorough and confidential clinical documentation that adheres to organizational policies and state regulations.

You will primarily work with individuals in a detox center who are dealing with substance misuse and co-occurring mental health disorders. Your expertise will be crucial in helping them navigate their recovery journey, learn coping mechanisms, and facilitate the development of a solid support system aimed at long-term recovery and wellbeing.

• A master's degree in social work from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid and active LCSW license in New York State is essential.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience is necessary, allowing you to navigate complex client cases effectively.
• Proficiency in solution-focused psychotherapy and familiarity with trauma-informed care principles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster meaningful client relationships.
