• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings that evaluate clients' substance abuse backgrounds, mental health status, and specific treatment needs.
• Collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment plans addressing both addictive behaviors and co-existing mental health issues, integrating evidence-based practices.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based methodologies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and motivational interviewing (MI).
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, which includes psychiatrists, case managers, and nursing staff, to ensure a cohesive approach to client care and additional medical support where necessary.
• Engage with clients’ families by providing education and support, fostering their involvement in the recovery process to reinforce critical home support systems.
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory, ethical, and organizational guidelines using our electronic health records (EHR) system.

Our primary clientele includes individuals facing substance use disorders, many of whom may also experience co-occurring mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, or trauma-related disorders. Your work with these clients will require empathy, cultural competence, and a deep understanding of the complexities of addiction and mental health—and you will have the chance to make profound differences in their lives.

• Possession of a current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A master's or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated understanding of co-occurring disorders and evidence-based practices for facilitating recovery and wellness.
• Proven therapeutic and counseling skills necessary to build rapport and motivate clients throughout their recovery journey.
• Active listening and communication skills, with a strong capability to work within a collaborative team framework.

• At least two years of direct counseling experience in a clinical setting, specifically focusing on addiction treatment and mental health.
• Specialized training in therapeutic modalities surrounding substance abuse disorders is advantageous.
• Previous experience working in a community health context, with skills in integrating mental health care into broader health services.
