The Teen Therapy Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized therapy plans tailored to the unique needs of each client.
• Provide individual, group, family, and couples counseling using evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused techniques.
• Utilize therapeutic interventions to address a range of mental health issues, striving to build strong, trusting relationships with your clients.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation while adhering to legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in regular consultations with your professional peers and participate in ongoing training and workshops to stay updated on best practices in mental health treatment.

You will work primarily with adolescents and their families, providing critical support to a vulnerable population that often lacks sufficient access to mental health resources. Your expertise will address a variety of mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues, with a focus on creating a safe and supportive therapeutic environment.

• A valid and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required, while a Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is strongly preferred.
• At least two years of professional counseling experience, ideally gained in a clinical setting.
• Strong understanding of ethical practices and legal standards specific to mental health care.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, enabling you to establish meaningful connections with clients and their families.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems is advantageous.

• Experience specializing in family therapy, couples therapy, or treatment for substance abuse and trauma is highly preferred.
• A solid foundation in therapeutic methodologies tailored to adolescent behavioral health.
• Experience working in a remote therapeutic environment is a plus.
