• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health and substance use issues to inform treatment plans.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that reflect clients' unique needs and circumstances, addressing both mental health challenges and recovery goals.
• Implement evidence-based interventions, including solution-focused therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy, tailored to promote client resilience and recovery.
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records, ensuring adherence to ethical standards and legal regulations.
• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with other healthcare providers to provide holistic care to clients.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and coping strategies.
• Stay up to date with the latest mental health research and best practices to enhance service delivery.

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals in a detox setting, many of whom are facing significant challenges related to substance use disorders, anxiety, and trauma. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds, which requires cultural competence and an understanding of various socioeconomic factors affecting mental health. Your ability to empathize and connect with clients will be critical in helping them achieve positive outcomes.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Must possess a valid LCSW license in the state of New York.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting is essential.
• Strong proficiency in solution-based psychotherapy interventions, with the ability to apply various therapeutic modalities as needed.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for building rapport with clients and collaborating with a treatment team.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, with experience managing complex client situations.

• Experience working in a detox or rehabilitation setting is highly preferred.
