This role offers a fully remote work setting, allowing the selected candidate the flexibility to accommodate their work-life balance while efficiently serving our clients. All clinical work will be conducted via secure teletherapy platforms ensuring the utmost confidentiality and adherence to HIPAA regulations. As part of a well-coordinated healthcare team, you will interact regularly with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and support staff, collaborating to enhance patient outcomes.

• Assess the ongoing biopsychosocial needs of patients, formulating comprehensive treatment plans that address identified issues and promote symptom resolution.
• Utilize techniques tailored to individual, family, couple, and group therapy, facilitating sessions that adhere to the highest clinical standards.
• Serve as a primary therapist and co-therapist during group therapy sessions, guiding clients through their therapeutic journeys and encouraging peer support.
• Conduct thorough evaluations to gather pertinent data in accordance with program requirements and regulatory standards.
• Actively participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, contributing insights about client progress and collaborating on care plans.
• Guide the client through crisis intervention procedures when necessary, often working in conjunction with other healthcare providers.
• Stay informed on ethical guidelines and agency policies, maintaining the integrity and professionalism expected in the field.

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of clients seeking support for various mental health challenges. Your clients may include individuals grappling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and substance use disorders. By fostering a supportive and non-judgmental environment, you will help clients develop coping strategies and achieve their personal therapy goals.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Pennsylvania.
• Minimum of two years of counseling experience, specifically in a clinical or healthcare setting.
• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards relevant to mental health practice.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with a variety of clients.

• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma, or substance misuse is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated proficiency in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and related technologies to maintain accurate client documentation.
• Experience collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate client care.

Sunny Valley Psychotherapy Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
