The Crisis Preparation & Psychiatry Center is actively seeking a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) for a full-time, remote position. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, addressing their emotional and psychological needs.
  • Provide documentation of client interactions and treatment plans in compliance with regulatory standards, ensuring timely and accurate record-keeping.
  • Utilize evidence-based screening tools to evaluate client needs and monitor progress towards treatment goals.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement positive behavior support plans for clients, ensuring that their needs are met holistically.
  • Serve as a liaison to state agencies and community partners, facilitating access to additional resources and support systems as required.
  • Participate actively in the agency's licensing and accreditation processes, contributing to the continuous improvement of service quality.
  • Engage in professional development opportunities, including attending conferences and participation in statewide meetings related to mental health services.
  • Promote the agencyโ€™s mission, values, and principles within the community and foster relationships with external organizations to further our outreach efforts.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s Degree in a behavioral health field is required.
  • Current, independent LMHC license issued by the state of Florida is mandatory.
  • Proven ability to maintain detailed clinical records and generate comprehensive reports.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, interdisciplinary team.
  • Sound clinical judgment and decision-making abilities in alignment with professional standards.

Compensation and Benefits
