• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to evaluate patients' emotional and psychological needs, developing tailored treatment plans that address their specific circumstances.
• Engage in collaborative treatment efforts by working with our interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care strategies that incorporate various therapeutic modalities.
• Facilitate peer reviews and participate in professional consultations to enhance your therapeutic skills and improve patient care outcomes.
• Develop and provide educational resources for patients and families, empowering them through knowledge about mental health and coping strategies to promote understanding and resilience during difficult times.
• Integrate contemporary mental health research into practice to ensure evidence-based treatment approaches and remain current with evolving strategies in the field.

In this role, you will primarily work with patients receiving hospice care, who are facing profound emotional and psychological challenges. This population often includes individuals experiencing terminal illnesses and their family members navigating grief and anticipatory loss. Your role as an LICSW will be critical in providing emotional support, crisis intervention, and facilitating discussions around end-of-life decisions while fostering dignity and autonomy.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution with a valid Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) license in Washington State.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in psychotherapy, preferably in a healthcare or mental health setting.
• Proficient in employing solution-focused therapeutic interventions to provide effective support to patients and families.

• Experience in hospice or palliative care settings, where you have developed the skills necessary to navigate complex emotional landscapes with sensitivity and empathy.
• Background in working with clients experiencing grief, loss, and profound emotional stress.
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and best practices for providing remote mental health care.
