As an LICSW, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality psychotherapy services to individuals dealing with various mental health challenges, particularly in hospice care. Your specific duties will include:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to identify patients’ mental health needs and developing customized treatment plans utilizing the most effective evidence-based practices.
• Administering therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy, tailored to the unique needs of each client.
• Maintaining meticulous and timely documentation of all clinical interactions, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational standards.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams comprising psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and other social workers to deliver coordinated care that addresses the holistic needs of patients.
• Participating in regular case consultations and peer review meetings to enhance service delivery and improve treatment outcomes for our patients.
• Providing essential education and support to patients and their families, assisting them in navigating the complexities of mental health challenges and available resources.
• Staying informed of the latest advancements in mental health research and treatment methodologies to continually enrich clinical practice.

This role primarily involves working with hospice patients and their families, who may require support in managing grief, depression, anxiety, and other mental health concerns that arise in end-of-life scenarios. You will play a vital role in enhancing their quality of life during challenging times, offering compassionate support and therapeutic interventions that foster emotional well-being.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid LICSW license to practice in Washington State.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in providing psychotherapy services, with a preference for hospice or palliative care backgrounds.
• Demonstrated proficiency in solution-focused psychotherapy and evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of connecting with diverse populations empathetically.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills to navigate complex clinical scenarios.
• A collaborative mindset to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Experience working specifically in hospice or palliative settings is highly desirable, as it equips clinicians with the unique skills necessary to support patients and families during sensitive and emotionally charged moments.
