Jewish Family Care Therapy is seeking a dedicated Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) to join our team in Kansas City, Kansas. This role is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility in your working hours while still enabling you to connect meaningfully with clients. You will operate within an outpatient office framework, scheduling appointments with clients and managing your caseload with the support of our collaborative team. • Conduct detailed and ongoing assessments to evaluate and address the specific needs of your patients.
• Maintain open communication with supervisors, direct care team members, and families to discuss patient progress and any necessary interventions.
• Provide supervisors with a tentative schedule that includes appointments, home visits, and observations to ensure effective monitoring of your work.
• Conduct home visits as required, engaging in thorough observations, chart reviews, staff interviews, and data analysis to support patient care.
• Ensure the effective implementation and follow-through of individualized program plans tailored to each patient’s unique situation.
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings to exchange insights, share progress, and collaborate on patient care strategies.
• Produce and complete monthly and quarterly progress notes documenting patient journeys and treatment effectiveness.
• Lead training sessions to equip staff and team members with the skills needed to implement program plans and maintain accurate documentation.
• Offer continuous support through follow-up interviews, home visits, and observations, fostering a robust support system for your clients.
• Maintain detailed records, ensuring that information is accessible and transparently communicated to interested parties.
• Act as a liaison with community partners and public resources, aiming to enhance development goals in mental health support.
• Contribute to the creation of training materials and procedures to optimize the programs for individuals in treatment.

You will work with a diverse range of clients, including adults and youth, who are navigating various mental health challenges. Your expertise in specialized areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma, or substance misuse will be invaluable in fostering positive outcomes and tailored approaches for each individual's needs.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Must hold an active and unrestricted licensure as a Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Kansas.
• A minimum of 2 years of counseling experience in a clinical setting is essential.
• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse, or trauma is highly regarded.
• A solid understanding of legal and ethical standards related to mental health practice.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to build rapport with clients from varied backgrounds.
• A proven ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams is critical.
• Familiarity with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) software and related tools used for client management is preferred.
