The Tiny Steps Development Psychiatry Clinic is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic team. This position is primarily remote, offering the flexibility to work from the comfort of your home while still receiving support from our collaborative team. • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients, utilizing tools such as the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) to accurately diagnose and evaluate their mental health status. Create tailored care plans that honor the cultural diversity and unique needs of each patient.

• Monitor patients' progress through ongoing evaluations, adjusting treatment strategies as needed to ensure the best possible outcomes.

• Maintain meticulous treatment records and documentation, employing current technology to meet regulatory compliance and clinic standards.

• Collaborate with patients and their families to develop treatment objectives that reflect their goals and desired outcomes, ensuring transparency and agreement in the care process.

• Proactively anticipate areas of patient safety concerns and mitigate risks by implementing effective interventions and symptom reduction strategies.

• Facilitate referrals to additional services and coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a seamless continuum of care for the patient.

• Engage in educational opportunities by mentoring students, interns, and other learners who are keen to develop their skills in social work and mental health care.

• Participate in clinical collaboration activities such as peer reviews, chart audits, and mentoring designed to elevate overall team performance and professional development.

Our patient population includes individuals from varied backgrounds, facing a range of mental health issues that often intersect with significant medical conditions. • A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) from the State Board of Social Work Licensure.

• Demonstrated ability to provide culturally competent care and a solid understanding of human development and aging processes.

• Experience in an outpatient mental health setting, ideally within hospice or palliative care.

• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities and individualized care planning methodologies.

• Prior experience mentoring or supervising junior staff or interns.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
