This position is entirely remote, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere while providing essential services to clients in Aurora, Colorado, and beyond. We implement state-of-the-art electronic medical records (EMR) software to facilitate efficient documentation and care coordination.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the mental health needs of clients, ensuring a tailored approach to their care.
• Engage in ongoing communication with clinical supervisors, direct care staff, and relevant stakeholders, sharing insights about a client’s progress and ensuring coordinated support.
• Formulate and present a tentative schedule of client appointments, including home visits when necessary, to monitor the effectiveness of the treatment plans in place.
• Oversee and coordinate home visits to gather critical information through chart reviews, staff interviews, and data analysis, thereby enhancing the understanding of each client's unique situation.
• Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to ensure the proper implementation of program plans, making adjustments as necessary to meet client needs.
• Participate in team meetings and other relevant gatherings to share expertise and contribute to organizational goals.
• Document client progress through regular reports, including monthly and quarterly progress notes, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Organize training sessions to ensure that staff members are proficient in the program plan and documentation processes.
• Provide ongoing follow-up and support through interviews and home visits to reinforce positive outcomes for clients.
• Act as a liaison with the public and mental health community to promote development goals and enhance treatment accessibility.

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse client population ranging from children and adolescents to adults, addressing various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance misuse. This diverse client base allows you to apply a variety of therapeutic techniques and tailor your approach to meet individual needs, ultimately improving their mental health and overall wellbeing.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field is required.
• Active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Colorado.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a counseling role, preferably within a clinical setting, is required.
• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples counseling, substance misuse, or trauma therapy is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of mental health legal and ethical standards is essential.
• Proven interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport and trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a healthcare team.
• Proficiency in utilizing EMR software and related technology for documentation and client management.

• Previous telehealth counseling experience is advantageous, given the virtual nature of this role.
• Experience in crisis intervention or managing specialized populations (e.g., trauma-informed care) is welcome.

• The salary range for this position is competitively set at USD 80,000 to 110,000 per year, depending on experience and caseload.
