As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will engage in a range of clinical activities, including:

• Conduct comprehensive diagnostic assessments for individuals, couples, and families, evaluating their mental health needs and treatment suitability.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic services tailored to the unique circumstances of clients and their families, employing techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and family systems therapy.
• Collaboratively develop and regularly review individualized treatment plans that incorporate client input and address identified goals.
• Support clients in acquiring effective coping strategies and life skills through structured therapy sessions and supplementary resources.
• Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment, engaging with external partners such as social workers, healthcare providers, and other community organizations.
• Participate in marketing initiatives, representing the organization at community events to raise awareness about mental health services.
• Complete necessary documentation, including chart notes and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with health regulations and quality assurance standards.
• Research and advocate for additional resources, facilitating access to alternative levels of care or supportive services, including financial or social aid as necessary.

This role will primarily serve a diverse clientele within the community health framework, including individuals facing relationship challenges, families addressing complex dynamics, and those seeking to improve their overall mental well-being. You will utilize culturally sensitive approaches to engage clients of various backgrounds, ages, and socioeconomic statuses, ensuring that all feel respected, understood, and effectively supported.

• A Master's degree in Counseling with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.
• An active LMFT license issued by the state of Pennsylvania is essential.
• A minimum of two years of experience providing therapy in a relevant clinical setting is imperative.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations, employing sensitivity and respect for different cultural perspectives.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, sound judgment, and meticulous attention to details in both clinical practice and administrative tasks are necessary characteristics.
• Consistent attendance and punctuality are crucial to ensure optimal patient care and collaboration within the team.

• Experience with telehealth practices and virtual therapy modalities.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic models and modalities, including trauma-informed care.
• A background in community health settings would be advantageous.
