WellPsyche Medical Group is actively hiring for a Collaborative MD with an active California medical license! We are a physician-run leader in telepsychiatry. We provide quality outpatient therapy and psychiatric services for children, adolescents, and adults striving to achieve mental health and wellness and reach their full potential.

About the Role
  • Meet with your provider team individually or up to 4 NPs in a group meeting 1-2 times per month via teleconference. The role will support general clinical matters and other aspects of a standard collaborative relationship.
  • May review and respond to clinical questions and escalations
  • Conduct chart reviews in a timely manner
  • Act as the collaborating physician, overseeing care providing by NP(s)
  • Execute duties outlined in collaborative practice physician agreements, including tele-meetings, case reviews, and prescription consultations
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to the clinicians under your supervision
  • Offer constructive feedback on clinician performance
  • WellPsyche provides clinical leads and supervising MDs that are available daily and typically field any issues that come up day to day.

About You
  • You genuinely care about your patients and their well-being

  • You are passionate about mental health
  • You have at least 1 year of experience as a Psychiatrist, with 2 years preferred in mental health.
  • You have experience with adult and/or child and adolescent populations
  • You have experience in both medication management as well as therapy
  • You are Board Eligible or Board Certified in the state of California in the field of Psychiatry
  • You have experience in both medication management as well as psychotherapy
  • Valid Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification
  • Clinical and administrative supervisory experience.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
  • Experience in telehealth and telemedicine
