• Conduct thorough evaluations to understand the mood disorder symptoms experienced by clients, ensuring a clear assessment of their emotional landscape.
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans that reflect the individual client’s goals and preferences using evidence-based modalities.
• Specialize in divorce and relationship counseling, employing various therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and communication-focused approaches.
• Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding mental health, treatment options, and best practices for self-care and wellness.
• Regularly track client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on empirical data and individualized needs.
• Engage in collaborative care with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to ensure comprehensive treatment for clients.
• Stay informed about current research in mood disorders to refine therapeutic strategies and enhance treatment outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records, complying with ethical standards and legal requirements.
• Actively participate in case consultations, clinical team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities.
• Advocate for clients’ mental health needs, working to reduce stigma and promote understanding in the community.

You will engage primarily with clients coping with mood disorders and relationship difficulties, offering a safe space for exploration and healing. • A valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or related field.

• Demonstrated capacity for empathy, understanding, and a nonjudgmental approach toward clients' needs and experiences.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to efficiently manage a diverse range of administrative responsibilities.

• Experience with various therapeutic modalities, particularly those focused on structural family therapy, systems therapy, and narrative therapy.
• Background in addiction counseling and strategies for long-term recovery.
• Familiarity with digital tools and platforms for teletherapy and documentation.

• Competitive annual salary range of $120,000 to $140,000, commensurate with experience.
