• Conduct comprehensive virtual assessments to identify and understand the mental and emotional needs of clients approaching end-of-life care.
• Formulate, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans aligned with the clients' unique goals and needs, adapting strategies as necessary throughout their care journey.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, using evidence-based practices to help clients process their experiences, emotions, and grief.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, psychologists, and nursing staff, to ensure holistic and coordinated care for patients and their families.
• Maintain organized and meticulous records of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes while upholding compliance with applicable regulations and best practices in documentation.
• Stay informed on the latest developments in clinical social work and hospice care, incorporating new methodologies and insights into practice to provide cutting-edge support.

Your role will primarily focus on clients who are at critical stages in their healthcare journeys, particularly those in hospice care settings. You'll engage with individuals grappling with terminal illnesses, offering them emotional and psychological support while also assisting family members coping with grief and loss. This specialized focus ensures that you are equipped to provide empathetic, patient-centered care that addresses both mental health and end-of-life considerations.

• Must hold a current and valid Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) credential in the state of Washington.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or a related field is required; advanced degrees and certifications are advantageous.
• A minimum of three (3) years of post-licensure experience in clinical counseling, particularly within mental health or hospice settings.
• Proficient knowledge of various treatment modalities and mental health issues relevant to clients in a hospice care environment.
• Excellent communication skills, demonstrating the ability to interact empathetically and effectively with clients and their families.
• A strong ability to operate autonomously in a remote work environment while effectively managing multiple responsibilities.

• Previous experience working with hospice or palliative care teams.
• Training or certification in grief and bereavement counseling.
• Familiarity with telehealth services and virtual therapy platforms.

The compensation for this position includes a competitive salary range between $80,000 and $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and caseload management.
