Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing you to connect with clients from the comfort of your home. You will join a dedicated team of professionals committed to improving mental health outcomes at our Detox Center, focusing on those facing substance use and mental health co-morbidities. Our virtual practice utilizes a range of digital tools and platforms to facilitate seamless interactions with clients. From video sessions to secure electronic documentation, you will have the technology at your disposal to deliver optimal care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive virtual assessments to evaluate clients' mental health and substance use needs, ensuring that each client receives personalized care.
  • Develop tailored treatment plans that reflect the unique goals and challenges of each client, updating them regularly based on progress and feedback.
  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that encourage open dialogue, skill-building, and community connection among clients.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and holistic care for every client.
  • Maintain detailed, accurate client records within our secure electronic health record (EHR) system to track treatment progress and outcomes effectively.
  • Participate in regular training and professional development to stay informed about emerging practices in mental health treatment.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be working with clients within a Detox Center setting, which may include individuals struggling with substance use disorders, emotional instability, and co-occurring mental health issues. You will employ trauma-informed care practices to build trust and rapport, enabling clients to approach their recovery in a safe and supportive manner.

Qualifications
  • A fully licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Washington.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of full-time counseling experience with a strong emphasis on mental health and substance abuse treatment.
  • Proficiency in various treatment modalities and an understanding of best practices in mental health counseling.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to connect with a diverse client population.
  • Adept in utilizing virtual therapy platforms and electronic health record systems to maintain efficient workflows.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience working in a detox or inpatient facility, highlighting your ability to address acute mental health crises.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
  • Experience in collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care outcomes.
Compensation and Benefits
