Developing specialized skills such as case management or certifications like CCRN can also command higher pay rates for extra work.

What is a Remote RN ADN job?

A Remote RN ADN job is a nursing position that allows registered nurses with an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) to work from home or outside of a traditional clinical setting. These roles often involve case management, patient education, telehealth services, or chart review. Remote RNs use technology to assess patient needs, coordinate care, and communicate with healthcare teams. While direct patient care may be limited, strong clinical expertise and communication skills are essential.

What is the best remote job for a nurse?

A remote RN with an ADN can pursue roles such as telehealth nurse, case manager, or health coach, which involve providing patient support and education via phone or video. These positions typically require strong communication skills, clinical knowledge, and sometimes additional certifications like case management credentials.

A remote RN with an ADN can increase earnings by specializing in high-demand areas like case management or telehealth, obtaining relevant certifications, and gaining experience. How can I make 2000 a week working from home?

Remote RNs and ADN nurses can increase earnings by working multiple shifts, specializing in high-demand areas, or obtaining certifications like CCRN. Combining part-time roles or telehealth services can also help reach higher weekly income levels, but earning $2000 weekly typically requires extensive experience and a flexible schedule.

What are some common challenges of working as a Remote RN with an ADN, and how can they be managed?

Remote RNs with an ADN may face challenges such as limited face-to-face patient interaction, navigating various telehealth technologies, and maintaining effective communication with patients and colleagues in a virtual environment. To overcome these, it's important to develop strong digital literacy, set up a dedicated and distraction-free workspace, and proactively engage with the healthcare team through regular virtual meetings. Many employers offer onboarding and technical support to help remote nurses adapt quickly. Staying organized and maintaining ongoing education in telehealth best practices can further help you thrive in this role.

OUR MISSION

Perry Health is rethinking chronic care through a fully remote, continuous care model. We provide expert diabetes education and clinical management for Medicare patients, delivered by a comprehensive team of specialized Registered Nurses, Registered Dietitians, and Accountability Coaches.

Our model integrates high-level clinical expertise with real-time data from cellular-connected glucometers and advanced CGM management. By bridging the gap between physician visits with proactive, data-driven support, we deliver life-changing outcomes for our members.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) passionate about remote care delivery. In this role, you will lead diabetes education and management by conducting phone visits for initial member consultations. You will be responsible for evaluating diagnoses, medications, and lab results to assess member acuity and validate candidacy and continuation in our clinical program. Additionally, you will be identifying and prescribing CGMs (Continuous Glucose Monitor) for applicable members.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide call-based care to members in Perry Health's Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) program.
  • Deliver swift, empathic care to members and assess their clinical competencies.
  • Evaluate medical history and data to determine member eligibility for the clinical program.
  • Serve as the primary clinical point of contact for practice-wide escalations.
  • Collaborate with the broader care team — including RNs, RDs, and Accountability Coaches — to reinforce clinical goals and SMART goal progression.
  • Adhere to Perry Health policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures to ensure ongoing clinical quality and compliance.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Education: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited institution; active certification as a Nurse Practitioner.

Current priority need states are Alabama, Utah, and Iowa.

  • Experience: Minimum 3+ years of experience managing patients with diabetes.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with continuous glucose monitors (CGMs) and behavior change theory is a plus.
  • Skills: Motivated learner, willing to acquire proficiency with the necessary technology (computers, software applications, phone systems); experience or training in Motivational Interviewing to support sustainable behavior change is a plus.
  • Traits: Creative thinking, an eye for detail, ability to work independently, a positive attitude, and the ability to excel in a fast-paced atmosphere while collaborating with diverse groups at all levels of the organization.
  • Language: Spanish-speaking highly preferred.
COMPENSATION & PAYMENT TERMS

Contractors are paid on a monthly basis following Net 30 payment terms.

Clinical Pay: $30.00 per completed consult. Consults are scheduled in 20-minute slots and require a minimum of 15 minutes of engagement time per member — inclusive of live conversation, chart review, and care coordination — for the visit to be billable. Payment is issued for completed, billable visits.

Non-Clinical Pay: $30.00/hour flat rate for required meetings and training.

OUR VALUES

  • Bring your best self: The authenticity of our team drives our innovation. We show up for each other and our patients every day.
