Performance is usually measured by the volume of completed abstractions, data accuracy rates, and adherence to deadlines. Meeting these metrics ensures that healthcare organizations maintain compliance and high standards in quality reporting. The role offers flexibility in scheduling but requires strong self-discipline and organization.
