The flexibility of working from home, combined with access to a supportive team, creates a dynamic work environment where you can thrive. You will collaborate closely with the Child Family Treatment Team and health professionals from various disciplines to ensure comprehensive care for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual therapy sessions in clients' homes as well as group therapy sessions at our outpatient center, tailored to meet the specific needs of children and their families.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that include strategies for anger management, coping skills enhancement, and social skills training, with a focus on reducing high-risk behaviors such as self-injurious behavior (SIB) and physical aggression.
  • Work collaboratively with youth and their caregivers to enhance decision-making abilities, enabling them to manage in-home behavioral challenges more effectively.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all therapy sessions, including intake assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, adhering to designated timelines.
  • Engage actively in monthly team meetings, offering insights and recommendations to improve therapy delivery and client outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily support children aged 3 to 20 years who are facing a range of developmental and intellectual disabilities. Your expertise will be vital in providing therapeutic services that address both individual needs and family dynamics. You will play a key role in guiding families through complex emotional and behavioral challenges, ensuring that each child receives the support necessary for successful growth and development.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a closely related field is required.
  • An active and unrestricted Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license must be held.
  • A minimum availability of 5 to 10 hours per week during after-school hours (4 PM to 7 PM), with weekend availability considered a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing positive behavior support and conflict resolution techniques.
  • A valid driverโ€™s license and access to a registered vehicle are essential for travel to client homes when necessary.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check, including fingerprinting, is mandatory for this role.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working with children, particularly those with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD), is preferred.
  • Prior involvement in multidisciplinary teams that support youth and family services.
  • Competence in providing therapeutic support in both individual and group settings, with experience in remote therapy delivery is advantageous.
Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary in the range of USD 60,000 to 80,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a comprehensive compensation package, employees benefit from:

  • A dynamic work environment that promotes teamwork and professional collaboration.
  • Group health coverage to support your well-being.
  • Annual paid time off, ensuring you have time to recharge.
  • Short- and long-term disability insurance to provide security in times of need.
  • A robust 401K plan to help you prepare for retirement.
  • Ongoing training opportunities to enhance your skills and advance your career.
Career Growth Opportunities

Gotham Enterprises Ltd is committed to the professional development of our staff. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will have opportunities to attend workshops, seminars, and training programs designed to expand your expertise and advance your career within the organization. We encourage our team members to pursue additional certifications and educational opportunities that align with our mission and the needs of our client population.
