The firm is looking for a senior audit accountant with at least two years' experience to join our rapidly growing and energetic firm. Our staff enjoy flexible hours, summer Fridays, & hybrid remote work arrangements and dress for your day attire!
Overview: a senior audit accountant is a mid-level professional who assumes responsibility for auditing and accounting engagements while running audit jobs while growing professionally within the firm.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Perform required planning procedures for all audits, including internal controls walkthroughs and risk assessment.
  • Assist staff with questions.
  • Assume responsibility for the timely performance and completion of all assigned jobs, including the issuance of financial statements and correspondence letters
  • Train and supervise Staff Accountants assigned to the engagement including the review of Staff Accountant workpapers and monitoring Staff Accountant time on jobs.
  • Complete projects and engagements within realistic budgets.
  • Perform semi-complex audit and accounting research.
    *Complete and PASS CPA Exam if not already certified.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's/master's degree in accounting.
  • Experience with running audits.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Minimum of 2 years of audit experience in public accounting.
  • Proficiency with CCH Engagement.

The salary range for this position is $70,000 -$85,000 dependent on experience.
