Position Overview

Thrive Mental Health Services is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our remote team in Henrietta, New York. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in providing comprehensive mental health support within our Detox Center. The successful candidate will help facilitate the recovery journey of those struggling with substance use disorders and mental health challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough biopsychosocial assessments for individuals entering our detox program, addressing mental health, substance abuse, and medical needs according to state standards and best practices.
  • Document mental health evaluations electronically, including progress notes, individual and group counseling records, and suicide risk assessments, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide evidence-based behavioral health services, encompassing individual therapy, couple's therapy, and family counseling that aids clients in navigating the complexities of addiction and mental health issues.
  • Engage in crisis intervention when necessary, using informed decision-making to provide immediate support and solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including medical providers, to coordinate care and refer clients to appropriate treatment facilities and community resources.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives through data collection and analysis to enhance service delivery and treatment outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on supporting individuals battling substance use disorders in a detoxification setting. As an LCSW, you will engage with a diverse client population, including adults from various backgrounds and with varying levels of support needs. Your expertise in cultural competency is essential, as you will be providing tailored interventions and understanding to promote recovery.

Qualifications
  • Must possess and maintain a valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of New York.
