This position is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to perform your duties from a location of your choice while maintaining a close connection with school personnel and families. • Conduct and document comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments for students dealing with mental health issues, ensuring that evaluations are age-appropriate and culturally sensitive.
• Provide a range of behavioral health services, including individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and referrals to necessary external resources.
• Document all patient interactions including mental health evaluations, progress notes, and suicide risk assessments within an electronic health record system to maintain accurate and timely patient care records.
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and local agencies to create a supportive network for students, connecting them with resources such as medication assistance programs and community services.
• Act as a liaison between students and educational staff, advocating for mental health awareness and the importance of emotional well-being within the school community.
• Participate in Quality Improvement initiatives, assisting in the development and implementation of processes for data collection to enhance service delivery and patient outcomes.

This role primarily focuses on school-age children and adolescents facing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and adjustment disorders. Your approach will involve culturally competent care, recognizing the specific needs of students from diverse backgrounds and fostering an inclusive environment.

• Must hold a valid and relevant state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A Master’s degree in Social Work is required, along with a minimum of three (3) years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting.
• Expertise in counseling techniques, crisis intervention strategies, and the ability to make independent judgments in direct service is essential.

• Experience in a school or educational environment is highly desirable.
• Proven skills in group facilitation, planning, and implementation of community-based programs are beneficial.
• Familiarity with electronic health records and telehealth practices is a plus.
