Cavalier Mental and Counseling Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LMHC, LICSW) to join our team in Seattle, Washington. • Conduct thorough mental health assessments, including psychosocial evaluations and risk assessments, to gather crucial data for developing effective treatment strategies.
• Collaborate with clients in creating personalized treatment plans that take into account their goals, challenges, and cultural backgrounds.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as CBT, DBT, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) across various therapy modalities including individual, couples, family, and group sessions.
• Provide timely crisis intervention services and work in conjunction with a multidisciplinary team to ensure ongoing support and continuity of care for patients in distress.
• Maintain accurate clinical records, including progress notes and treatment plans, following clinic policies and regulatory requirements consistently.
• Offer psychoeducation to patients and their families to foster understanding and empower them to manage their mental health effectively.
• Engage in regular outcome assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of treatment, making necessary adjustments based on client feedback and progress.
• Stay informed about the latest research, best practices, and trends in the mental health field to enhance therapeutic practice.
• Adhere strictly to ethical guidelines, ensuring the confidentiality of patient information at all times.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Possession of a valid and current license as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LMHC, LICSW) in the state of Washington.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to establish rapport and trust with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in outpatient mental health counseling.
• Proficiency in using digital tools and electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain documentation and facilitate remote therapy sessions.
• Experience in providing crisis intervention services and working in collaboration with a team of healthcare professionals.

• The annual salary range for this position is USD 70,000 – 84,000, determined by geographic location, experience, education, and skills.
