Work Environment

In this remote role, you will join a dynamic and supportive mental health team that prioritizes collaboration and communication. Although you will be working from home, the position involves regular interaction with local schools, enabling you to engage with students, meet with families, and collaborate with school staff on a range of mental health initiatives. Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy utilizing evidence-based interventions tailored to the unique needs of each client.
• Conduct comprehensive psycho-social assessments to better understand clients’ emotional and behavioral needs and formulate individualized treatment plans based on these assessments.
• Perform crisis intervention and develop safety plans for clients experiencing acute mental health distress.
• Assist clients in navigating and securing community resources such as housing, healthcare, and financial assistance, fostering their independence and well-being.
• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, educational therapists, and school administrators to coordinate comprehensive care and support for students.
• Maintain thorough clinical documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring that all records are up-to-date, accurate, and secure.
• Advocate rigorously for the rights of clients while helping them set and achieve their wellness and mental health goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses on providing mental health services to school-aged children, adolescents, and their families. You will work with a diverse population that may include students dealing with behavioral issues, emotional disturbances, developmental challenges, trauma, and other mental health needs. Your approach will be trauma-informed, centered on understanding the unique backgrounds and circumstances of each student and their families.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from a regionally accredited institution is required.
• A valid and active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of Georgia is necessary for this position.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience in mental health or social services, with a focus on working with children and adolescents preferred.
• Demonstrable expertise in case management, therapeutic interventions, and crisis de-escalation techniques.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, and cognitive-behavioral therapy techniques is essential.
• Outstanding communication and organizational skills, along with the ability to problem-solve effectively.
• Ability to work independently while also thriving in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working within a school setting or with school-aged children and their families would be advantageous.
• Knowledge and competence in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Prior involvement in community outreach or advocacy initiatives aimed at improving youth mental health.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation package for this role includes a competitive annual salary ranging from $110,000 to $130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications, coupled with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
