The Market Strategist is accountable for the planning, execution and outcomes of the entire book of business within a particular market or health plan. This role is highly client-facing with additional exposure to finalist meetings and broker summits.
If you are located in OH/IL, you will have the flexibility to work remotely* as you take on some tough challenges.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Proactive ownership of and accountability for the strategy within a specific market or healthplan
  • Perform client risk assessments with healthplan sales leadership and l enterprise partners
  • Determine and monitor resource allocation within the team
  • Lead and monitor engagement planning process and associated tracking
  • Maintain internal relationships with market sales and account management partners
  • Create and deliver client, market, healthplan, industry analytics and insights
  • Will travel and be responsible for a significant volume of client engagements
  • Gather and share competitive intelligence across the local markets team
  • Obtain, maintain and provide knowledge of adopted and proposed solutions
  • Participate and provide insights for RFP, consultant book of business insights, finalist meetings, client meetings, regional book of business insights as well as healhtplan book of business insights

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years in a client-facing role, preferably within a sales, account management, TPA, or consulting environment within the health care industry
  • Intermediate or higher skills within Office 365 applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated focus on data analytics, data science, or statistics with emphasis on creating actionable insights and delivery utilizing solid storytelling skills
  • Demonstrated clear and concise written & verbal communication skills; successful in-person and virtual presentation experience with a director-level and higher audience
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time depending on client or market needs
  • Driver's License and access to reliable transportation

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $112,700 to $193,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
