Key Responsibilities

• Provide Counseling Services: Conduct thorough assessments and deliver tailored individual counseling sessions. Engage with clients primarily comprising women aged 35-55 on topics such as anxiety, depression, midlife transitions, relationship dynamics, and strategies for stress management.
• Develop Treatment Plans: Create individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments, ensuring the incorporation of evidence-based practices that reflect each client's specific needs and therapeutic goals.
• Conduct Virtual Sessions: Utilize advanced telehealth technology to provide therapy sessions, ensuring confidentiality and a comfortable virtual environment for clients. Maintain a high quality of care through effective communication and interaction.
• Monitor Client Progress: Regularly review clients' progress in therapy, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans and offering continuous support, encouragement, and re-assessment where applicable in their therapeutic journey.
• Collaborate with Team: Actively work with other members of our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care, make referrals to other specialists when needed, and share best practices to enhance the quality of client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role specifically focuses on providing mental health counseling to women in the demographic of 35-55 years, a group often facing unique challenges such as career transitions, family dynamics, and the emotional impacts of aging. Understanding and addressing these specific needs is crucial in fostering effective therapeutic relationships and achieving meaningful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling with an active LPCC license to practice in the state of California.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in clinical counseling demonstrating competence in managing a diverse client base.
• A strong understanding of ethical and legal issues pertinent to counseling practice.
• Proficient in navigating telehealth platforms and adopting technology solutions in clinical practice.
• Adept in working autonomously as well as collaborating with a multidisciplinary team for enhanced client care.

Preferred Experience

• Experience conducting therapy via telehealth or online platforms.
• Background in treating mental health issues prevalent among midlife women, such as depression, anxiety, and life transitions.
• Familiarity with current best practices and evidence-based methodologies in mental health treatment.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is competitive, with an annual salary ranging between USD 120,000 and 130,000.
