Job Description:

Global Trade Advisory,Consultant

The Consultant will support our Global Trade Advisory practice by executing trade compliance audits, conducting datadriven analyses, and supporting a wide range of customs compliance projects. This role is ideal for someone detailoriented, analytically strong, and eager to developexpertisein import operations, tariff application, and compliance risk management. You will help ensure clients meet regulatory requirements,maintaindocumentation, and strengthen their overall compliance skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conductcustoms compliance audits, including reviews of entries, documents, and data integrity.

  • ValidateCBP Form 7501, commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading for compliance accuracy.

  • Extract, reconcile, and analyze data fromACEreports.

  • Identifypotential compliance gaps including valuation, FTAs, HTS classification, ADD/CVD, and PGA information.

  • Support HTS classification exercises and project work for clients.

  • Prepare complete, defensible audit documentation.

  • Conduct variance analysis between declared values, dutiable values, and supporting documentation.

  • Assistin drafting preliminary findings, issue logs, and risk summaries for client deliverables.

  • Maintain version control, audit trails, and documentation structure that meets regulatory expectations.

  • Support project teams on compliance assessments, internal control reviews, and process improvement initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 4-year degree

  • 1 year professional experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, international trade, economics, or related field.

  • CCS or LCB

  • Foundational understanding ofCustoms Entry, HTS classification concepts, and tariff application.

  • Strong Excelproficiency(pivot tables, V/H-lookups, Power Query, data reconciliation).

  • High attention to detail and accuracy under deadlines.

  • Strong analytical skills and willingness to question anomalies.

  • Excellent organizational skills, especially documentation and audit trails.

  • Ability to manage large datasets andidentifyinconsistencies.

  • Exposure to import compliance, customs brokerage, ACE reporting, or trade operations.

  • Understanding of valuation fundamentals (ad valorem, assists, royalties).

The US National pay rate range for this job position is $52,000-$124,400. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety ofrelevant factors including but not limited to applicant's skills, prior experience, qualifications, degrees,professional certifications, work arrangements and geographic location.
