Job description

Prestige Staffing is seeking a Revenue Cycle Specialist to work physician claims Monday - Friday 8-5 Easter Time Zone. This is a contract role which might lead to a permanent role for the right fit.

Pay: $23-26/hour depending on experience

Location: 100% Remote

Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Revenue Cycle Specialist to support a growing ENT and Allergy focused healthcare organization by driving timely reimbursement and improving accounts receivable performance. In this role, you will manage heavy collections, resolve denials, process rebills, and work accounts through to payment and final resolution across all payors. This is a long-term contract opportunity (3 months+), with potential to join a team that is expanding and adding multiple resources.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma (required)
  • 2+ years of revenue cycle, accounts receivable, heavy collections experience
  • Experience with denial management, rebills, and end-to-end account resolution (collections through payment)
  • Strong knowledge of payor policies and guidelines; familiarity with coding guidelines
  • Preferred: Experience with ModMed and/or eClinicalWorks (eCW); background in ENT and/or Allergy


Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage accounts receivable balances; follow up on unpaid, underpaid, and outstanding claims
  • Perform heavy collections activities and drive accounts to resolution and payment
  • Research, analyze, and resolve claim denials and rejections; identify corrective actions and resubmit as appropriate
  • Process rebills and ensure timely, accurate claim follow-up across commercial and government payors
  • Collaborate with billing, clinical, and revenue cycle partners to address issues impacting performance
  • Provide feedback and support continuous improvement efforts within the revenue cycle process
