This full-time, fully-remote role is a great fit for highly detailed, organized, motivated and communicative individuals who have at least two years of experience with direct commissions experience in the Telecom indirect sales channel.

The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position is $60,000 - $75,000 per year depending on knowledge and experience. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity. The Commissions Analyst is a partner facing position that owns end-to-end commissions service delivery for the assigned partner portfolio. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills and exceptional attention to detail. This position reports to the Director of Revenue Operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Conduct thorough analyses of carrier commission reports to ensure accuracy and timely processing.
  • Process partner commission statements using internal commissions software.
  • Communicate the results of monthly reconciliations to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Audit order submissions with TSD/suppliers and ensure all commission requirements are in place.
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses and audits, including order tagging, wireless line activations, and commissioning account numbers.
  • Perform software QA testing on commissions features in internal software per documented process; flag issues to the Director.
  • Act as backup for other commissions analysts when needed.
  • Own end-to-end commissions service delivery for assigned external partners: serve as primary operational contact for that portfolio from intake through resolution per documented process. Backup and PTO handoff are governed by team SOP.
  • Establish meaningful relationships across the assigned partner portfolio through consistent and reliable communication.
  • Lead monthly partner commission review meetings and participate in cadence calls as needed; review status with partners and surface issues that need attention.
  • Assist assigned partners with ongoing questions about commissions OS features that come up during status reviews and routine work.
  • Escalate with context to the Senior Commissions Analyst when an issue exceeds routine resolution.
  • Other Duties: Other projects and assignments as needed, including special analyses and data validation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in the telecom channel, with direct commissions experience, required.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience required.
  • Working knowledge of tiered commission structures and complex payment configurations.
  • Ability to interpret contracts and extract commission-related information, including payment breakdowns and dispute timelines.
  • Ability to summarize analyses clearly for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong commitment to customer service, with the ability to anticipate and meet partner needs.
  • Ability to work independently with limited oversight and to prioritize effectively during peak cycles (including month-end).
  • Advanced technical skills in Microsoft Excel, including filtering large data sets, navigating large spreadsheets, using functions such as SUM and ROUND, leveraging Pivot Tables, and utilizing VLOOKUP efficiently.
  • Comfort exercising new software features against documented expectations and reporting reproducible defects.
  • Experience with commissions management and telco/channel tools (e.g. RPM Telco) is preferred but not required.
  • Prior experience as a primary point of contact for external partners or customers is preferred but not required.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
