About the Job:

As an Accounts Receivable Analyst, you will partner with Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) U.S. Brand teams, including Control, Franchise Administration, Legal, and Planning, as well as Accounts Receivable Cash Specialists, to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of accounts receivable data and transactions. You will monitor and reconcile franchisee and customer account activity, investigate discrepancies, resolve billing and payment issues, and support the timely and accurate recording of receivables. The Accounts Receivable Analyst will collaborate cross-functionally to identify process improvements, support month-end and year-end close activities, and provide reporting and analysis related to receivable balances, collections, and cash applications.

This role is fully remote.

Salary Range:  

$64,900 - $66,000 + bonus eligibility. This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidate's location, experience, and other job-related factors.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelors in Accounting (or related field).

  • At least 2 years of experience in public or private industry accounting

  • Strong Computer Skills: Experience with JDE and Microsoft products (such as Excel Pivot tables, vLookup formulas, etc)

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and strong interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience with a large Company is highly regarded.

  • Experience in the QSR or retail environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Ensure application of GAAP and Yum! Accounting Policies for KFC US AR accounting including AFDA, period over period royalty analysis, effective rate analysis, brand collection meetings, and miscellaneous billings and other entries. 

  • Prepare and ensure timely completion of account reconciliations, journal entries, and other SOX control requirements. 

  • Facilitate period and quarterly reporting for KFC US, including but not limited to pre-close meetings and assistance with the AR deck pages. 

  • Assist in revising sales provided by franchisees and provide support in ensuring sales information is accurate and compliant with sales reporting guidelines 

  • Oversee the monitoring of bank activity and recording manual payments as needed. 

  • Involved in External/Internal Audit requests, SOX Peer Reviews, and special projects, as necessary. 

  • Identify process improvement opportunities by working closely with Supervisor/Manager and IT to incorporate best practices and leverage system functionality

  • Oversee Krise and AR JDE system administration for KFC US such as the JDE FIC Table set up

  • For Byte Engage, perform new customer setup, monthly billings, and address numerous adhoc inquiries from Israeli team

  • Prepare and support miscellaneous YUM corporate billings
