This position is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to maintain a work-life balance while delivering essential services. As part of our Hospice Center team, you will work in a well-equipped digital environment that leverages the latest technology to enhance patient engagement and treatment delivery. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring that every patient's care is coordinated effectively and comprehensively.

Your daily responsibilities as an LCSW will involve a variety of pivotal tasks:

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to understand the mental health needs of your patients, developing personalized treatment plans that incorporate recognized best practices.

• Administer various therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailoring your approach to meet the individual preferences and needs of each client.

• Maintain accurate clinical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and other relevant standards to protect patient confidentiality and care quality.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to create cohesive treatment plans that holistically support patient recovery.

• Engage in continuous learning through participation in case consultations and peer review meetings, contributing to the enhancement of care standards across the organization.

• Inform and educate patients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and community resources available, empowering them to navigate their recovery journey confidently.

• Stay updated with recent developments in mental health research and best practices, ensuring your clinical approach remains effective and evidence-based.

You will work with a diverse range of patients at various stages of mental health challenges, requiring a gentle and adaptable approach. Your focus will center on individuals who may be experiencing terminal illnesses, bereavement, or severe mental health issues related to their condition, providing them with necessary emotional and psychological support.

To be considered for this rewarding position, candidates should meet the following qualifications:

• Possess a Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Hold a valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.
• Have at least three years of clinical experience, particularly in providing psychotherapy.
• Demonstrate knowledge of various intervention techniques related to solution-based therapy.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with a diverse clientele.
• Possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to critically think through complex cases.
• Ability and willingness to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

While the above qualifications are essential, we prefer candidates who have experience in hospice care, palliative care settings, or similar environments, as well as those who understand the unique challenges faced by patients and families dealing with terminal conditions. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems will also be beneficial.

The annual salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience.
