Classic Mind Mental and Counseling Services is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor for a full-time remote position based in vibrant San Bernardino, California. Work Environment

This remote position allows our counselors to connect with clients across various settings while providing flexibility in their work schedule. The typical workweek runs from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments to determine clients' needs and create tailored treatment plans that address specific issues.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to facilitate healing and growth for individuals, couples, and families.
  • Lead psychoeducational support groups, addressing common mental health issues and providing clients with a sense of community and shared experience.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, coordinating care to ensure a holistic approach to mental health treatment.
  • Provide crisis intervention services for clients experiencing acute mental health emergencies, ensuring immediate support and safety.
  • Educate clients on their mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources that can assist in their recovery journey.
  • Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing our state-of-the-art EHR system.
  • Participate actively in case consultations and team meetings, contributing to ongoing professional development and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Stay current with evolving best practices and research in the field of mental health therapy to enhance treatment outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice serves a diverse clientele, including individuals across various age groups, ethnic backgrounds, and socioeconomic statuses. Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.
  • Deep understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
  • Proven experience conducting comprehensive assessments and creating effective treatment plans.
