Our client, a leading organization in the technology and communications sector, is seeking a Research Program Manager IV to join their team. As a Research Program Manager IV, you will be part of the Research Operations supporting global research initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, operational practicality, and the ability to manage complex projects, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Research Program Manager IV

Location: Remote (PST)

Pay Range: $75/hr to $85/hr on W2

What's the Job?

  • Own the execution and continuous improvement of program operating cadences, including intake tracking, milestone and risk management, and stakeholder updates
  • Build practical AI-enabled research operations workflows, including configuring internal tools, translating support needs into AI-assisted processes, and evaluating AI vendors and tools
  • Build and run the research operations portfolio system, including project status, data completeness, vendor/tool usage, and recurring reporting
  • Identify recurring process bottlenecks and translate those patterns into documentation, automation, or escalation paths
  • Establish measurement for research velocity, portfolio health, tool adoption, operational cost efficiency, and workflow impact

What's Needed?

  • 6+ years of experience in operations, program management, research operations, or related fields, including at least 3 years in operational analytics or measurement
  • Strong hands-on SQL and Excel or Google Sheets skills, with experience analyzing complex operational data
  • Experience applying AI and automation to improve workflows with appropriate data and human quality controls
  • Proven ability to design and deliver complex operational programs from concept through scaled adoption
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
