Job description

Our client, a Fortune 5 client, is looking to hire a Compliance Architect in Remote.
Pay Rate Range: $75 to $82/hr on w2, depending on experience
Short Term Contract Opportunity: - 3 Months
Responsibilities: 
Overview
ASE Compliance is seeking a Compliance Architect to ensure systems align with regulatory and industry standards. This role will focus on translating regulatory requirements into scalable, auditable systems while ensuring continuous compliance across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret and translate the regulatory landscape into operational systems tailored to the organization
  • Design architectures that ensure auditability and continuous compliance, embedding appropriate controls
  • Document deliverables, track compliance metrics, and assess overall compliance maturity
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and legal teams
  • Evaluate and document the current AI/ML systems landscape
  • Identify gaps and propose solutions related to:
    • Data governance
    • Model management
    • Data lineage
    • Monitoring and Compliance Controls
Requirements: 
  • Core Competencies & Skills
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, EU AI Act, and CCPA
  • Deep understanding of AI/ML systems, data science practices, and MLOps
  • Expertise in security and data governance, including de-identification and tokenization
  • Ability to bridge legal/regulatory requirements with technical implementation
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (e.g., Electrical Engineering or Physics) or equivalent experience
  • ~10 years of experience in data privacy, compliance, engineering, or related fields
  • Background in:
  • Data science
  • ML engineering
  • Technical program management
  • AI governance
  • Experience with programming/scripting languages such as Python, C, or C++ (preferred)
