Job description

Signature Media is a home services marketing agency. We run paid advertising, SEO, and AI search optimization for roofing, foundation repair, waterproofing, plumbing, and pest control companies across the US. Our clients don't hire us for rankings reports. They hire us because their pipeline needs to move. Every decision we make traces back to one number: qualified leads that turn into booked jobs. That's what shapes how we build sites, how we report, and how we hire.
We're a small, tight-knit team rebuilding our delivery model around AI - one operator now does what used to take six. We're looking for someone who wants ownership, not a task list. Fully remote, open to candidates anywhere in the US. If that sounds like you, read on.
The Role
We are rebuilding what an agency account team looks like. The old model takes six people and three months to plan, write, design, build, and ship a client website. We are replacing that with one AI-native marketer using AI to ship the same work in days. We have already deployed live sites this way using Claude, Claude Design, Claude Cowork, and Vercel. You will be the first hire in this new role, owning the delivery and results for a portfolio of accounts and the qualified leads and booked jobs those clients pay us for.
This role has a second edge: brand. We have strong technical depth on the team now. Where we want to level up is design, branding, and well-rounded marketing, including traditional methods. You'll be the branding lead for our team, able to build a brand from scratch - the look, the voice, and a coherent system. Signature Media will be one of your accounts, so you'll build our own brand from the ground up across our website and other properties.
What You'll Do
  • Own account outcomes. The qualified leads and booked jobs for your accounts are yours, and so is the channel mix. Digital leads, but nothing is ruled out - digital PR, direct mail, print, OTT, ABM, and other traditional plays, whatever books the job, all AI-enabled.
  • Lead brand and design. Build brands from scratch - visual identity, messaging, and a coherent design system - across client sites and our own. Hold the bar on how everything looks and reads.
  • Build and ship websites and marketing collateral end-to-end with AI. Plan, write, design, develop, and process revisions using Claude, Claude Design, Claude Cowork, Vercel, and the rest of our stack. Lean on our in-house technical strength and fractional engineer for the rare edge cases. Days, not months. WordPress is the past.
  • Drive organic, content, and SEO performance. Run and optimize content, SEO, and email plays. Coordinate with our SEO/GEO lead where deeper channel expertise is needed.
  • Partner with the paid team on paid performance. Make the case for budget on your accounts, lead the landing pages and collateral the paid team needs, and help shape strategy and messaging. Our paid specialists own technical execution.
  • Systematize our proof. Use analytics, content, and AI to mine client data and turn results into case studies - systematized, and where possible automated.
  • Automate the repetitive. If a task happens twice, build the automation. Deploy AI agents, n8n workflows, lovable apps, and internal tools instead of using virtual assistants for repeat operational work.
  • Aim every build at marketing results. You are a marketer who is strong in build and brand, not a developer who builds what they are told. Every site, asset, brand, and automation ties back to leads and booked jobs.
  • Equip the SCSM with what they need. Our Senior Client Success Manager owns the client relationship. Your job is to hand them clean reports, results, and context so they can keep clients informed. Yours is to keep delivering results.

How You'll Be Measured
  • Qualified leads and booked jobs generated for your accounts.
  • Strength of the brands and design you ship, including our own.
  • Client retention and satisfaction across your portfolio.
  • Time and cost reduction in your account workflow versus the legacy model.
  • Automations and internal tools you ship that the rest of the team adopts.

Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years in performance marketing, lead generation, growth, or brand marketing, ideally at a digital agency.
  • Strong design and brand sensibility - able to build a coherent brand and design system from scratch, not just assemble pages.
  • Demonstrated experience shipping production work with AI tools such as Claude, Claude Design, Vercel, n8n, or AI agents.
  • Balance of marketing and brand judgment with technical orchestration. You ship most of a build yourself and lean on our technical team for the rest.
  • Lead-generation marketing experience in service-based industries.
  • A portfolio with real shipped work - websites, brands, landing pages, automations, or agent systems.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Direct experience marketing for home services businesses (contractors, restoration, HVAC, plumbing, roofing, etc.).
  • Brand-building or creative-direction experience - brands taken from scratch to launch.
  • Comfort with design and deployment tooling (Figma, Claude Design, Vercel, Netlify, or similar).
  • Track record of replacing legacy WordPress or multi-person agency workflows with AI-native builds.
  • Working knowledge of analytics and lead tracking platforms (GA4, WhatConverts, CallRail, or similar).

Compensation and Benefits
  • Base salary: $95,000-$110,000
  • Performance bonus tied to account outcomes, paid quarterly.
  • Annual compensation review with merit increase eligibility.
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • 401(k) retirement plan.
  • Paid time off and company holidays.
  • Fully remote work with equipment provided.
  • Access to the AI tooling stack you need to do the job, including Claude.

Interview Process
  1. Application review - we respond within 2 business days.
  2. Asynchronous video interview - a short set of recorded questions on your own time.
  3. Phone screen - a brief call covering your background, the role, and logistics.
  4. Final interview with our CEO and COO - 45-minute conversation on your background, portfolio, and fit.
  5. Paid skills project - a short, paid project that mirrors real work, with a brief walkthrough of how you approached it.

Total: typically 2-3 weeks from application to offer.Application review. We respond within 48 business hours.
How to Apply
Please send us:
  • Your resume
  • Required: a link to a live website or brand you built with AI. Best case, one where you did the content, design, and development yourself.
  • A short note - a few sentences is fine - on how you use AI in your marketing work today and why this role fits.

We look forward to seeing what you have built.
