What is a remote rendering?

A Remote Rendering job involves processing and visualizing complex 3D graphics on powerful cloud-based servers rather than local devices. This allows for high-quality rendering of models, simulations, and virtual environments without requiring high-end hardware on the user's end. Professionals in this field work on optimizing rendering pipelines, ensuring low-latency streaming, and integrating rendering solutions into applications such as gaming, architecture, and engineering.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in remote rendering?

To excel in a Remote Rendering role, you need expertise in 3D rendering pipelines, computer graphics principles, and networked application development, commonly backed by a degree in computer science, graphics, or a related field. Familiarity with tools like Unreal Engine, Unity, NVIDIA CloudXR, and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is typically required, along with relevant certifications in cloud computing or graphics technologies. Strong problem-solving abilities, clear communication, and the ability to collaborate remotely make candidates stand out in this position. These skills ensure high-quality, real-time graphics experiences are efficiently delivered to users over networks, meeting client and project demands.

What are some common challenges faced by professionals working in remote rendering?

One of the main challenges in remote rendering is optimizing performance to deliver high-quality graphics with minimal latency, especially when supporting diverse devices and varying network conditions. Professionals often need to troubleshoot hardware compatibility issues and ensure secure, seamless integration with virtual or cloud-based environments. Collaboration is frequently remote, requiring clear communication and coordination with software engineers, designers, and IT teams. Adapting quickly to new rendering technologies and cloud platforms is also a key part of the role, helping teams stay ahead in this rapidly evolving field.

Job description

Are you an amazing growth marketing manager? Do you have the expertise and knowledge to navigate the fast-changing landscape that is organic marketing?
Platphorm is looking for an Organic Growth Marketing Manager who can own the organic growth channels across our portfolio of products.
You will have the opportunity to help guide our company's new organic strategy in relation to AEO and LLM-driven search, while working for a small tech company that is stable and profitable.
Platphorm, LLC builds innovative multi-modal information exchanges and provides a soup-to-nuts system that allows businesses to build scalable, reliable marketplaces where buyers pay sellers for information delivered by voice, mail, chat, SMS, or recorded phone message.
The marketplace we've built enables anyone to provide fee-based advice in their area of expertise, at a price of their choosing, and for others to find them and pay for a conversation. The interaction can happen over the phone, email, text, or chat.
Responsibilities:
  • Own organic search strategy end-to-end across multiple brands, including but not limited to keyword and intent research, content roadmap, on-page optimization, internal linking, and structured data
  • Build and guide our growing answer-engine optimization (AEO) practice, ensuring our brands are cited and recommended by LLMs and AI search products, and measuring visibility in those surfaces
  • Work with the marketing and community teams to build an authentic presence on Reddit and similar platforms: value-first participation, monitoring brand mentions, identifying communities where we can genuinely contribute, and building programs that put our real users and service providers in front of communities
  • Produce content pieces yourself (landing page copy, comparison pages, guides)
  • Partner with engineering on technical SEO fixes, and make the business case for that work
  • Support the broader marketing team with organic-informed input on landing pages and content, and assist on social content, strategy, and execution as needed
  • Report on organic's contribution in business terms, including qualified traffic, signups, and revenue attribution, not just rankings or views

Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years in SEO, organic growth, or content-driven acquisition roles with demonstrated ownership of results (traffic, signups, or revenue; not just rankings)
  • Must be comfortable working with consumer platforms that contain adult themes, mature content, and dating-related content
  • Strong technical SEO fundamentals, including crawl analysis, JavaScript rendering issues, structured data, Core Web Vitals, and analytics
  • Working knowledge of AEO/GEO and a point of view on how LLM-driven search changes organic strategy
  • Genuine Reddit fluency. You understand community norms, what gets brands banned, and how to build presence that compounds rather than shortcuts that backfire
  • Solid writing ability; you can produce publishable content yourself when needed
  • Comfort with data: GA4, Search Console, at least one major SEO toolset (Ahrefs, Semrush, or similar), and spreadsheet-level analysis
  • Hands-on experience with AI-assisted tools in your workflow and a point of view on how they change organic marketing
  • Clear, direct communication style; comfortable partnering with senior leadership and cross-functional teams; self-directed and accountable for results
  • Ability to work with a team in a remote setting, and stay active with communication between team members

Preferred:
  • Experience in restricted or sensitive ad categories (adult, dating, gambling, CBD, etc.) where organic carries the acquisition load
  • Familiarity with marketplace or creator-economy business models
  • Experience recruiting or coordinating user/creator participation in community programs

Benefits include:
  • Fully remote position with two in-person meetings per year
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401K matching program with no vesting period
  • Flexible Spending Account
  • Generous PTO plan and 12 company-paid holidays plus your birthday
  • Frequent virtual team-building events
  • Friendly and diverse coworkers
  • A rare setup for an organic marketer: direct access to decision-makers and businesses where your work visibly moves revenue
